Construction commences following immediate pre-let of 120,000 sq ft (12,000 sq m)
Verdion, Europe’s specialist logistics developer, investor and asset manager, has launched Verdion iPark Copenhagen, its new €45 million Grade A development in Copenhagen, Denmark, with an immediate pre-let of 120,000 sq ft (12,000 sq m) to the world’s largest logistics provider.
The 380,000 sq ft (36,000 sq m) multi-phase logistics park is located close to Copenhagen in Denmark. Adjacent to the Route 16 motorway, just 20km north of Copenhagen City, the park offers a fast and immediate road connection to Copenhagen (to the South) – and to the key supply chain route to Helsingør, (ferry linked to the Swedish port of Helsingborg) to the north.
Verdion has secured a pre-let of 120,000 sq ft (12,000 sq m) of warehouse and office space to support the occupier’s contract with one of the world’s largest healthcare companies – the largest company in the Nordics market by capitalisation. This is the second warehouse Verdion has developed for the logistics provider in Denmark, the first facility, also a pharma platform, was completed at Greve, close to Copenhagen, in 2015.
Construction of Verdion iPark Copenhagen is now underway with completion of the first facility scheduled for Q2 2018.
Verdion’s Nordic business continues to expand its operations; in May of this year the company completed the development of a €20 million Nordic parts warehouse for BMW in Malmö.
