Marco Rauch appointed as Verdion’s Technical Director for German projects

Verdion has appointed Marco Rauch as Technical Director, responsible for the technical project management of all new German developments.

Rauch (45) has been working as a construction and project manager for more than 15 years. He moves over from GSE Deutschland GmbH, where he was responsible for the development of commercial properties with a total GLA of around 70,000 sq m. Before that, the civil engineer was responsible for projects in Frankfurt and the Netherlands, including logistics buildings with a total GLA of 100,000 sq m, for Goldbeck. Between 2004 and 2014, Rauch developed offices, hospitals and schools at Peter Gross Bau GmbH in the Rhine-Main region with a total investment volume of around 150m euros.

“With Marco Rauch, we are delighted to add such a versatile and experienced new colleague to our team,” says André Banschus, Executive Director of Verdion in Germany. “We develop complex logistics and corporate real estate for which experience in building across a wide range of asset classes is a great advantage.”

Verdion’s build-to-suit approach is characterised by a high degree of flexibility and creativity. “We listen carefully to our clients’ needs and develop tailor-made real estate concepts for them,” says Banschus. “This ranges from office and logistics space to clean rooms, refrigerated or hazardous goods warehouses.”
