Verdion and Aviva Investors ramp up development at E20 Park Copenhagen

Speculative development at E20 Park Copenhagen is moving forward at pace, bringing around 50,000 sq m of new logistics space to the Greater Copenhagen market and addressing the shortage of available stock in the region.

In the first stage of development, 12,000 sqm of new storage space is set to be ready for occupation in April 2022. It will offer energy efficient storage, mezzanine and office space for up to four businesses close to the E20 motorway.

A further 37,000 sq m has now been greenlighted for speculative development, with completion planned for early 2023. It will offer unit sizes from 6,000 sq m with 12.2m headroom and a 56-meter-deep fenced yard.

All space will benefit from 50kN/m² UDL floor loading, LED lighting and an ESFR sprinkler system, with all mains services connected and available. A DGNB Gold sustainability rating is being targeted. Lease terms are available from retained agents CBRE.

E20 Park Copenhagen is one of Denmark’s largest logistics parks, offering a wide range of unit sizes on its 38-ha site – from smaller scale warehousing for immediate occupation to very large scale, technically complex buildings. Located close to the town of Solrød, it is 25 minutes away from the city centre and over 40% of the Danish population lives within an hour’s drive of the site. The development is being led by Verdion with funding by Aviva Investors.

It will be high quality, sustainable and above all it will offer more choice to the many businesses that are expanding as a result of e-commerce and other sector growth.”

With capacity for up to 150,000 sq m at E20 Park Copenhagen, we believe it is the right time to bring more space to the market.”
